  1. I have a set of vintage floor speakers my wife and I got from her dad years ago. I got back into vinyl and drug this stuff out only knowing her dad bought top of the line stuff. These speakers have no identification on them. So I don't know what brand or model they are. They are wood cabinet speakers I'd guess early 70's. I am scared to try and pull the front screens off because I don't know if they do come off. The question I have is they have two tggle switches on the back. They are marked midrange and hi-freq. with negative and positive positions. How are these suppose to be set up? The reciever is a Marantz 4240 "stereo 2 + Quadradial 4". Can I get some insight as to how these switches are suppose to be setup?
