  1. Hi Everyone, I'm selling my treasured Boston Acoustics T-1030 towers. I've listed them on craiglist for $2400. They have some cosmetic imperfections that you can see in the pictures, but all the drivers work, they were just refoamed in 2016, and overall I think they're in great condition! They sound incredible. I know these are rare, and I want them to go to a good home. I'm located in White Plains, NY, near the city. I'm willing to transport them to a certain extent. Shipping is not an option at this point. All the Best, Charlie
  2. Are there any enthusiasts who have heard both these highly reputed models? Recently both were available on eBay for $500. The VR 40s needed re-foaming, the T-1030s had already been done. I understand the newer speakers had better cabinet bracing; but they are bass reflex. I love the sound of my acoustic T-830s. Newer driver designs on the VRs also. I was wondering how it all balances out; although the T-1030s have already sold, so it's academic.
  3. Two distinct designs, both from T830 pairs. Can anyone identify which is the older and newer designs? What are the sonic characteristics of each? I have A60 Series II, T830, T930, and T1030 pairs in various systems thru the house. And have built a custom C830 center channel from a donor T830 to fill out the home theater properly. It's a 20+ year love affair w/ this tweeter and acoustic suspension, and I learn something new about them every couple of years. Thanks.
