Black KLH 6 tweeter

Probably not a problem. KLH used the same tweeter in many models. Some were painted black. I've worked on one pair of Sixes and they had bleack tweeters but if your silver one look the same otherwise it may have been a replacement that just wasn't painted. Or it may have been built that way in the factory at a different time. These were not sold in pairs. The original owner may have had a mono system (the Six predates stereo) and later added a second speaker.

Thanks, I have it loose on my shelf that I can't remember which cabinet it came from. 

If it has the same DCR measurement as a silver one would that be any indication as to whether or not it is a perfect match?

How does one tell, otherwise?

The high-end KLH tweeters from a certain time period look the same, but
there are two variations, apparently with different voicing:
