Bonjour Ben

I had a similar problem when I put a screwdriver through a speaker cone

Here's what I did:

Take a piece of lens cleaning paper--the kind that is used to clean photographic lenses or eyeglasses. It is thin and very strong.

Tear a piece if you can (this will leave a ragged edge) or cut it.

Glue the patch to the cone with a water-based glue like Aleene's Tacky Glue.

When dry, smear a little diluted glue over the patch and onto the surrounding cone.

Hope this helps. It worked for me. Maybe some other member will have a better solution.

Kent
