Guest windmill54
I was doing a google search and came upon this site and I am hoping some kind-hearted soul could advise me about my speakers. I have a pair of EV Patrician 800 speakers that have been in my late husband's family for many, many years. The uncle bought them new and were inherited along with thousands of records (he was quite the collector and had no kids!). Before life happened to us (kids and illnesses) they were used quite regularly with a surround sound system and boy, they could make the house shake, rattle and roll! They were impressive! Unfortunately, the interest faded and I looking for a new home for them. There is some minor scratches in the cabinetry as they are sitting in the living room and there is some damage to the grill clothes which probably need to be replaced. I know they work well but I do not have a receiver to drive them the way they use to be.So the question is, what can I expect for them? As we all know, times are tough and I would love to get as much as I can from them. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do now? please?
