Charles218
From my recent post regarding a problem with one of my 3A tweeters, some of you learned that the problem was a non-working tweeter. I was lucky to have a spare, but that was my last one and I would like to have at least one spare, maybe two. In checking Ebay I see a few auctions for various tweeters, some of which do not work. I've always been under the impression that tweeters generally can not be repaired, yet I see that these non-working units are getting bids. Am I missing something? Is there a use for these? I have three or four sitting around that I suspect will get tossed someday, but seeing that some people are trying to acquire them makes me wonder what they will do with them. Any ideas? Tom H.
I noticed that too. Either people don't know what they are buying or they need a cool paperweight. There was someone on Audiokarma (Or was it here?) trying to repair an AR Tweeter. I don't know how it turned out.
