[Dynacophil]

I introduce my Sets of Dynaco or ScanDyna Speakers


1.) ScanDyna A-45x

2 8" ScanSpeak woofers, ScanSpeak Tweeter D-3804


2.) SEAS A-25xl (no Dynaco)
came w/o Terminal in the back, have slim appearance with alloy frame.

3.) Dynaco A-25, early. Vent above. SEAS Drivers.

4.) Dynaco M-25xl. Cheapo look. 3way, conus drivers. SEAS Woofer

5.) ScanDyna branded A-35xl, BUT SEAS drivers, very late version, cheapo vinyl veneer, a VENT, bought in Switzerland...

6.) Dynaco A-40xl, look like A-35 or not? Work in my kitchen w/SCA-35 and a CDP

Thank you very much for your photo downloads.

Sadly, we do not have Dynaco insider memos to read here.

Dynaco must have shredded any internal documents they had, when they sold out.

Only with your recent input have I seen another side of this Dynaco story, thank you.

There is much more to be told, I am certain.

A Dynaco historian would be nice about now.

Interesting pictures. I'd never seen a SEAS A-25 with the port above the tweeter until your post and that other post from Asia.

The A-35xl (with the round port?) looks like it uses standard SEAS drivers, at least not the XL tweeter. How does it sound?

The regular A-35 can always be told from the A-40XL by the newer, smaller tweeter in the A-40XL, right? The A-40 is also very slightly larger according to that unofficial Dynaco website everyone sites (Greg Dunn).

I think i have the SEAS 25xls that are featured in your photos. Were there many differences between this model and the standard 25?
