Allison AL 115 speakers for sale (black)

The tweeter in one speaker is dead. It appears that a
replacement can be bought from Allison Acoustics for $65.
See:

http://www.allisonac....com/parts.html

but check with them to be sure.

Otherwise the speakers are in excellent condition. The cabinets
may have minor imperfections here and there but you need to
look very closely to see them.

According to:

http://www.classicsp...?showtopic=4009

these are identical to the current Allison PB 8.2 model which
list for $1200.

I am not bothering to replace the dead tweeter because frankly I
was never happy with the sound of these speakers. Perhaps this
is because I have been spoiled by the Allison Three pair that
function as my main speakers. Besides, the AL 115 are overkill
for bedroom speakers; that's what they have been used for since
I bought them in the mid '90s.

I have no idea what it will take to ship these. I still
have the original boxes and foam inserts that they came in.
It may be just a matter of calling UPS for pick up.

Asking price: $250 + shipping from Columbia, Maryland.

Would that it were true.... But that site's as dead as your tweeter. Has been for quite a while.
