I am the owner of these and they are in excellent condition. I live in the Boston MA area. Would there be anyone interested?

It's a long, long time, from May to ... December ... but thanks to petro1, I am now the happy owner of these Braun L810's.

Nice speakers.
They replaced my set of KG 4's.
They are keepers.
What will you be powering them with ?

I usually power my Brain L810's with a Sony STR-GX9ES, but sometimes with an old Bose 1800. They sound great.

Don't know if you are familiar with the 810's but be careful with the volume dial.
That Bose can take out the tweeters easily.
I use a Pioneer 1250 and have replaced the fuses twice already.
Enjoy,they are a great listen.

I reviewed the ADS version of these speakers awhile ago.

Is there a way (using placement, etc.) to lessen the slight upper bass/lower midrange thickness I heard? Are the Braun versions pretty much the same as the ADS versions?

Try placing them on stands (8"-12") and tilting them up a little.
