hi i have a pair of C&B 15SP40-8 speakers from sub bins

the have splits in the surrounds right on the edge where they meet the frame.
about 3 inches long in several spots ..
the surrounds them selves seem ok . not cracked or brittle. being sub woofers ther have fairly firm surrounds.
it is my understaning...

i can remove the gaskets and apply a bonding agent to reseal/join the surroundsback to the frames..

would like to know if im on the right track and what bonding agent to use..
