Anyone know if this is a legit AR speaker?

A local seller is selling these speakers listed as an AR8. I can find absolutely no info on this speaker whatsoever. It looks like a real wood veneer and the drivers look decent. Does anyone know if these are legit or white-van imposters?

I think that's a AR Classic 8, made in the early 90's, IIRC the Classic series was the last series made in MA, before things were moved out to CA.

which lists the 12 as the smallest one of the lot, but here's a thread about the 8....

it shows the CL-8 as manufactured from 1993-1994, with a price of $450/pr....

 

looking at the price list there was also a classic 6, and 5...

 

the classic line from what I've heard are great speakers, but weren't big sellers
