David is a long term professional loudspeaker designer (since 1978), He has worked for JBL, KEF, McIntosh Labs, a/d/s/, Snell and PSB, amongst others. His speciallty has been achieving well behaved radiation from complex arrays.
His interests are the acoustics of performing spaces and the perception of loudspeaker balance. Recent consulting projects include better DSP room/system equalization via a more psychoacoustically correct method of measuring a loudspeaker in a live room.
