Hey guys, I'm getting ready to start buying parts for the recap on my KLH 12 Contour boxes, I only have one box right now but am going to go ahead and order enough for two, using JKent's parts list.

This discussion is a little old, does anyone have any updates or advice before I get started? Is it advisable to go ahead and recap the 12's also, my guess is yes, any advice on that subject would be welcome also.

Big shout out to RoyC for his help with my AR2ax rebuild, they sound great, that boy is a national treasure, maybe we should erect a monument

I just picked up a nice set of 3 way Ohm L's at an auction and am very impressed with the tone, they were missing one of the logo badges so I emailed Ohm to see if they would sell me one, the President of the company responded and sent me one free of charge, great customer service!!

These were a big seller for Ohm back in the day. Are there any other Ohm L folks out there?

Roy, after further reading and looking closely at the condition of my remaining tweeter, I think I will try the Hi Vi tweeters you suggested. Would you be willing to tell me exactly how to connect the inductor and resistor to the tweeter? Step by step, if you don't mind for all of us electrical neanderthals.

Also, I noticed the inductor you show in your AR  has a plastic top and bottom casing that seems like it would help in mounting, I can't seem to locate this type, where did you get yours, the ones at PE are just copper coils with no casing. I did locate that type at Madisound but it was a 19 awg.
